WHO CAN LEARN REIKI?
Reiki does not depend on one’s intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. Reiki is a very simple technique to learn and is not dependent on one having any prior experience with healing, meditation or any other kind of training.. The reason it is so easy to learn that it is not taught in the usual way something is taught. The ability to do Reiki is simply transferred from the teacher to the student through a process called an attunement that takes place during a Reiki class. As soon as one receives an attunement, they have the ability to do Reiki and after that whenever one places their hands on themselves or on another person with the intention of doing Reiki, the healing energy will automatically begin flowing. Anyone can learn Reiki, from the young to the old. The ability to learn Reiki is not dependent on education, intellect or talent. It is passed from the teacher to the student during a simple Attunement Ceremony during a Reiki Class. There are several levels of Reiki Classes, each one more advanced than the one before. When a person completes the basic Level I Class, they have the ability to perform hands-on Reiki for the rest of their life.
Anyone who has the interest can learn First degree Reiki, regardless of the age, state of health, intelligence or education. Anyone can learn Reiki. Reiki does not care about your beliefs or current knowledge and works well in conjunction with other healing modalities. I will offer, however, that it builds upon current abilities and knowledge, so not all Reiki practitioners are of the same ability even though they may be attuned to the same level or degree.
