Who are the promoters of TMI? What is their expertise in education in general and maritime education in particular?
TMI has been promoted by the Tolani Education Foundation, a part of the Tolani Group, in collaboration with the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. The Tolani Group has nearly three and half decades of experience in the shipping industry and they presently operate a fleet of seven modern bulk carriers. The Tolani Group has had a long standing commitment to the field of education. Numerous Tolani educational institutes that offer courses in Commerce, Management and Information Technology in both Mumbai and Pune, all bear evidence to the accumulated expertise of the Tolani Group in education.
