While my CLIÉ™ Hanheld is on the Car Cradle, I performed a soft reset operation. Why do some of my settings changed?
This is due to the characteristic of the car application. When your CLIÉ handheld enters in-vehicle mode, the car application will automatically change the settings of these functions on your CLIÉ handheld. When your CLIÉ handheld is removed from the Car Cradle, it results in a graceful transition from in-vehicle mode to normal CLIÉ handheld mode; thus, allowing the car application to restore these functions to their normal CLIÉ handheld mode settings. It is not recommended to perform a soft reset operation when your CLIÉ handheld is connected to the Car Cradle. However, if a soft reset operation was performed during in-vehicle mode, the following functions will be changed to their in-vehicle mode settings. Schedule alarm: off Music volume: maximum. Bluetooth™ function: off Screen brightness: at the setting prior to the soft reset operation.
