NSIDC does not produce browse imagery for Version 5 (V005) MODIS data because they are now available through each of the order interface options such as the Warehouse Inventory Search Tool (WIST), the Data Pool, and SNOWI. All V005 MODIS snow and sea ice products except MOD10CM and MYD10CM have browse images for each data granule. In the WIST, you can view browse images by clicking on the Available option button under the Image Quicklook column in the resulting granules list. Alternatively, you can view browse images in the FTP directories of the Data Pool. The MODIS Climate Modeling Grid (CMG) Browse Images for Version 4 (V004) MODIS data are only available from our CMG Browse Web page. The following table lists the Version 4 data sets that have browse images for each data granule.
