Where is the Best Bar Menu in Cincinnati, Ohio?
Its always a treat going to Maurys Lighthouse. On my last visit we were seated at a nice table and were immediately brought a delicious warm basket if home made potato chips. I love Maurys chips always crisp and golden. Hot out of the fryer too, now that’s service! They show so much attention to detail. The Sandbar is a great hidden gem on the river. A part of the 4 Seasons Marina complex, the Sandbar hosts local bands each week on the outside deck. The servers were very helpful and the food was great! Be sure to try the quesadillas or Walts Famous wings. Home to CSL Volleyball league, the outdoor courts are a great way to enjoy the warm summer nights. Highly recommended!Pros + Friendly service, great food and the best volleyball courts in Cincinnati.Cons – Somewhat hard to find. No Kellogg Ave signage. Very busy on CSL nights.
For first timers, Quatman’s can be intimidating. The waiters are downright mean, they don’t smile and don’t talk. When you walk in make sure you glance at the chalkboard behind the bar to the right. It has the daily special. if you ask what the special is, everyone will ridicule you. Also, don’t ask for anything special on your burger, it’s not available. Don’t request special cooking instructions, you get it how they cook it-which is medium-medium well. Get the vegetable soup but make sure it’s the second day-it’s better. There is no check. Get up, line up at the deli and tell them what you had. Pay with cash. Turn and leave quickly. Pros + It’s quick and edible, the wait stafr is two old guysCons – This is minimalism at best. One of the best burgers in Cincy, second maybe to Terry’s Turf Club, or perhaps Gordo’s. The toy train that runs around is fun and enhances atmosphere. Not much seating space, so can get very crowded at times.Pros + One of the best burgers in town, toy train running up top.Cons – Cramped space. Impossible to get a table on a weekend night.
