Where Is Hindenburg?
There are five places by the name Hindenburg. Hindenburg refers to Hindenburg Line which was a large system of defence during World War I. It is situated in north-western France. This is a construction by the Germans and has a stretch of about a hundred miles. Another place by the name Hindenburg is in Germany. It is called Hindenburgdamm. It is a causeway that joins the island of Sylt to Schlesiwg- Holstein. There is Hindenburg Mountain Range in Papua New Guinea (New Guinea Island) to the north of Australia. There is also a place by the name Hindenburg at Altmark in Sachsen-Anhalt. Another place Hindenburg O.O. was in Oberschlesien. It was the name of a city in Zabrze from 1915 to 1945. Hindenburg is also sited in Ostpreußen which was previously known as Groß Friedrichsgraben I, Landkreis Labiau near Konisberg.
