Where does the money go?
All our gifts are divided into the different areas Barnardo’s works with, whether it be disability, or young carers. The money you spend on a Barnardo’s Real Gift will go directly towards funding that specific area of our work, where the need is greatest. So no matter which fantastic gift you choose, you really will be making a real difference.
Our extensive security and operating costs demand a higher budget then average discussion forums. These subscriptions help keep our nonprofit running and secure and usher in a new era of Factnet growth. Over the last 15 years we have tried many other ways to keep our nonprofit solvent, and donation drives alone have not proven viable to continue to sustain and expand our nonprofit services in these changing financial times.
The operating cost of the camp is solely funded by the registration fees paid by the campers. Prior to the registration period a forecast of expected campers is made to establish a budget. The additional registration fee for Non Girl Scouts goes to register that girl as a girl scout. This allows the Girl Scout Council to include all the girls in their insurance coverage.
