Where do tigers live?
Tigers are wild animals. They are living across Asia. Tigers first appeared in China. Over millions of years, tigers spread into different parts of Asia, such as southern China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Sumatra, Bangladesh, and Russia. Tigers are solitary animals. They come together only to mate. Today only about 5,000-7,000 tigers remain in the wild. Tigers survive in southern Asia, but not anywhere else in Asia, because tigers have distinctive life-styles. They dont live in open habitats and dry areas. Tigers only live where deer and pigs and wild cows are found, in areas having significant plants and water. In India International Park, there are vast habitats, which are very good for tigers to live. Some tigers live in birch woodlands and tall grass, and some live in high reeds that are around water, where there are sambors and cheetles who like to drink water.
