Where are the tests given?
• In Trinidad tests are given regularly in the BERG building Room 107 (downstairs by the Little Theatre). Although the tests are regularly scheduled two Saturday’s per month, other test days are always available for scheduling on an individual basis. Call Patti at 846-5724 to schedule a test. • In Alamosa, GED tests are usually given on the First Saturday of the month unless it is a holiday. Test are given at the Valley Campus Room 236 and 238. The fee for the complete battery is $95.00 for all five tests. • In Trinidad fees must be paid at the TSJC Business Office located in the Berg Bldg. Call 846-5547 for the Business Office hours. • In Alamosa if you were registered in the ABE/GED program and approved for taking the official tests, your fee of $90. is paid by the ABE/GED grant(through the Colorado Department of Education). The tests are given at various locations on campus. How long are the tests? Each test takes 3-4 hours. How are the tests scored? Tests are scored on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest. The decision to grant college credit is at the discretion of each college or university.
