On computers with both an on-board and dedicated graphics the graphics mode needs to be explicitely switched to the dedicated card for best VISSIM performance. In combination with Optimus, VISSIM by default is exectued on the on-board graphics. To assign VISSIM to the dedicated graphics chip the graphics driver settings of your computer need to be modified.
