When should a child go to the dentist for the first time?
A baby´s first visit to a dentist should occur during his first months, before the eruption of the first teeth, that is, before he/she is six months old. This will allow the pediatric dentist to observe under clinical examination the shape of the dental arches, the presence of abnormalities, primary or neonatal teeth and especially, to give parents professional guidance regarding baby´s oral hygiene.
