When is Frog Eyes playing Israel?
I really want to see you guys again. Carey Mercer: The Tel Aviv show was an extraordinary performance, in that I was laid out with the raging fever to beat all raging fevers all day before this show. I kept popping aspirin, smelling dead sea sulphur, and praying to Zeus to please give me the strength to play this show. Minutes before the show, I felt the fever drain out of my body. It returned immediately after the performance–I almost fainted, I had extreme wooziness. So that show has laid an imprint on me as somewhat special. Thus, we would love to come back to play both Israel and Palestine. Actually, the last time I saw you guys perform was when you were billed with Sunset Rubdown, and Spencer Krug played keys with you. It was in NY, but I can’t recall the venue. I was quite blown away by how great you sounded live. I really enjoy the band on record, but the live experience was really energetic.
