This is a know problem. There are two alternatives if you get this error message and want to export your address book: – easy: Use MozBackup to make a backup of just your address book. You can either restore the address book using MozBackup or alternatively extract it from the backup file by opening it with a program like e.g. Win Zip. – complicated: If you want to export the actual address book file using Mozilla’s export function (and stop seeing the error message, i.e. fix the problem), please follow the instructions given in this MozillaZine forum message.
