When I click on a news item or other weblink I lose my connection to the TEAM site. Why?

This is due to the version and settings of your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox etc). Ideally you need to be running version 7 of IE or version 2 of Firefox which both support ‘tabbed browsing’, namely having more than 1 web page open within a single browser window. In addition you need to enable the option similar to ‘…open links in a new tab’. Then you can switch between the main site and any news items etc.
