When did Capessa start?
Capessa began on the Yahoo web network on December 21, 2006. It was an historic day, although most of the historic day trackers have yet to add it to their listings. On Jan. 7, 2007, it debuted as its own site, although you can still find Capessa stories on Yahoo. The new site was built to support the demand for community that women were expressing to us. “The stories are great, but where can we TALK about them? Where can we find women like this to be friends with?” Okay, they didn’t say exactly that, but that was the gist of it. We heard them loud and clear, and that is how it got where it is today.
