When did ABBA break up?
ABBA never officially disbanded, however their last public performance together was in December of 1982, and they are considered to be essentially dissolved. There is no desire among them to return to the stage, having made enough money and receiving enough through residuals, and having made their mark on music history. Although each of them has pursued their own solo ventures, they’ve always made it clear that they wish people to remember ABBA for what is was at it greatest.
