Carson is most obviously famous for hosting the Tonight Show for 30 years with Ed Mcmahon faithfully by his side almost always laughing at his corny jokes. I remember watching the Tonight Show for years and seeing Johnny do some of his most famous routines such as Carnac the Magnificent where he would put an envelope up to his head and give an answer, and then open the envelope and read the question. Jay Leno recently stepped down from the Tonight Show and it is currently being hosted by Conan O’Brien however, no one will ever replace the Johnny Carson, Ed Mcmahon duo.
