This is the inaugural year for the Canadian Campus Computing Survey. AAHEIT has organized this effort in conjunction with The Campus Computing Project which is the largest continuing study of computing and information technology in American higher education. The annual Campus Computing Survey (in its 16th year) and the Campus Computing Project are widely cited as definitive sources for information about an array of key IT planning and policy issues affecting American colleges and universities. The survey was conceived and developed by Kenneth C. Green, founding director, in 1989; the first Campus Computing Survey was conducted in summer, 1990.
