Whats the difference between Cubase SX and Nuendo?
Both programs use the same audio engine and are identical in almost every way (the GUI is essentially the same, but Cubase SX and Nuendo have slightly different “looks”). Nuendo does deliver added functionality for audio as it applies to film and television productions; it’s ideally suited to those involved in post production and surround-sound projects. Nuendo offers support for multiple workstations over local area networks, and it comes complete with software to manage network access for large-scale productions. Nuendo supports a host of multimedia file formats for workstations from SADie and Fairlight as well as audio-to-picture functions, hardware support and track sheets.
