Whats the definition of exceptional circumstances?
By Libby Price Monday, 20/02/2006 In recent months, wine grape, citrus and dried fruit growers in Sunraysia in Victoria’s north west have all been reporting difficulties in staying afloat. For wine grapes, it’s due to a glut. For other horticulture is in the main due to cheap imports. It’s been suggested these farmers might be eligible for exceptional circumstances assistance which is used for farmers struggling with drought.
