Whats the best way to learn guitar using my computer?
I’ve had good results with emedia guitar software. It has a guitarist with a PhD teach the lessons. However, I recommend getting a good guitar teacher in the beginning to build a solid foundation. I love playing guitar but bore easily when studying music theory. I had one teacher that had me tap my foot and play the chromatic scale and say each note I played. After two lessons, I dropped out. I think for most people they need to have a mix of learning basic songs to develop your ear (and have fun) and learning music theory. Just learning music theory, at least for me, was non productive. After you learn the basics you’ll have more interest in learning music theory. If playing guitar isn’t fun then you most likely won’t stay with it.
