Whats next for IPT?
As our entire team graduates from the University of Illinois in May 2011, IPT is poised for an exciting future. We are currently completing the second iteration of product development by conducting two rounds of domestic testing in the United States over the next several months before launching Iteration 3 of product development. Next summer 2011 IPT will return to the ROMP clinic in Guatemala to test the third generation of prototypes with the hopes of emerging from these tests with a final design to begin long-term usability tests over the following year. Long-term testing will eventually transition into the permanent deployment of our product.
