Whats new in the latest version of Eterm?
Eterm 0.9.2 is primarily a bugfix release. It does, however, contain one important feature enhancement over 0.9.1: Escreen. Check the man page for more details. Enhancements to Eterm 0.9.1 over previous versions include: • Several new imageclasses have been added, including a scrollbar thumb. Also added was a new state, “disabled,” which is activated when Eterm loses focus. • Brand new terminfo and termcap files that are actually accurate. You should be able to use TERM=Eterm now instead of TERM=xterm or TERM=linux. Also, the next release of ncurses should have Eterm’s new terminfo file. • Brand new graphical buttonbar (NOT just a menubar) which is completely user-configurable and can be positioned at either the top or the bottom of the Eterm window. Multiple buttonbars per Eterm window are also supported. • New scrollback buffer search utility, Etsearch • Several new built-in functions for theme files, including a system of variables and a directory scanner. • Better handling of savin
