I was thinking the very same thing….. I loved Van Halen back in the day; I actually liked them with David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. I think the David Lee Roth stuff on a whole was better….my all time favorite songs by them are with David Lee Roth singing lead “Jamie’s Crying”, “Dance The Night Away”, and “I’ll Wait” If David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar doesn’t come back, then don’t bother!!!! You see what happened when they got the lead singer from Extreme (Gary Cherone) to cut an album….It was BEYOND HORRIBLE….stick with what you know!!!!
