The big difference of MenoProgen from current marketed herbal products used in menopausal women is on the pharmacological mechanism. Menopause is a result of ovarian failure. The endogenous estrogen would not be generated unless follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is combined with the matured FSH receptors. Follicles growth and development are brought about by the combined action of FSH and LH on the follicle cells.
