What year was the first car made in?
1769. Invented by Joseph Cugnot, a French man and inventor. It was the first car and was powered by a Steam powered engine and the car was made out of wood and metal. This was one of the few mass produced cars at that time. Obviously, Henry Ford in no way invented the car or the engine. The engine in the Model T Ford was made by Germany.
