Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant Program – The Academic Competitiveness Grant is a need-based grant awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. The average award is between $750 and $1300. Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant Program – This grant program provides funds for needy undergraduate students and ranges from $200 to $4000 per year. A. There are many sources to assist you in paying for college. The four main types of aid are Federal, State, Institutional, and Outside resources. It is best to work with our office or a high school guidance counselor to secure the best possible aid package.

Grant money is provided for some financial aid applicants. Students are expected to contribute to their financial aid package in the form of a work study position or Stafford Loans. The parental contribution can be met through the Parent PLUS loan.
