M.Ed., Ph.D., and Ed.D. applicants The GRE general test is required for most College of Education programs (please read the on-line instructions carefully to determine whether or not your program requires the GRE). GRE information can be found at http://www.gre.org. Please make sure test scores are sent to the UW Graduate School using institutional code 4854. No additional department code is necessary. MIT applicants* The WEST-B and Praxis II are required. All three sections of the West-B, reading, writing, and math need to be passed. The Praxis II must be passed according to subject option. Information about the West-B can be found at http://www.west.nesinc.com/. (If you are applying from out of state, information about WEST-B equivalency tests can be found here. Information about the Praxis II can be found here. *The West-B and Praxis II are required for Special Education certification programs but are not required for admission to those programs.
