Your cat may be trapped somewhere, climbed into a truck or car and has been taken somewhere, hiding due to an injury or illness, fallen prey to some predator, or may have simply lost his way. Check around the houseand yard to make sure he didn’t crawl into anything and get stuck somewhere. Cats can fit in spaces that you might think they can’t so even if it seems reduculous, don’t overlook things because you think the cat couldn’t fit in there or wouldn’t go in there. Extend your search to the yard and especially look around areas where you know he frequents. Go door to door and ask your neighbors if they’ve seen him or heard from him and ask them to check around their yards, sheds, ,and garages for him as well.
