if i were you i would consider using another product to remove the glue paint thinner will leave a residue it’self on the floor and if you plan on any kind of flooring that requires any type of glue the thinner might keep it from sticking to the floor properly denatured alcohol works very well and doesn’t leave any residue once it dries just spread it on the floor waint a minute or two and use a paint scraper to peel the glue right up off the floor
