What percentage of the lot may be covered with structures?
The Highlands allows a maximum of 5% of the lot area to be used for structures. 40% of lot coverage is allowed for disturbance of the native desert vegetation. Although the Town of Cave Creek allows 75% disturbance, The Highlands’ disturbance rule is much more stringent in order to preserve more natural vegetation and keep The Highlands as scenic as possible.
