What mathematical, informatical and scientifical knowledge should one have to study CES?
Of course, well-grounded basics of mathematics and physics are needed for CES. If you succeeded successfully in school in those subjects, you should not have serious problems with CES. Nevertheless, if you did not choose those subjects up to your a-levels, you can catch up by dedicated work during the first two years. Anyway, you should be interested in Mathematics and Physics. In preparation it is advised to take part in the Aachen University Summer Courses . Furthermore, an Informatical Summer Course is offered. You should consider if attendance in an informatical or mathematical course is more reasonable because the study is not based on informatical conditions. In last year it figured out that especially mathematics were difficult for students.
