From the current Bates catalog: “The quantitative requirement is satisfied by any of the mathematics courses or units and FYS 317. Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or A-Level credit awarded by the department for mathematics, computer science, or statistics may also satisfy the quantitative requirement.
