While she appears to be harmless, Piper is actually very evil. She got her name because she screams at you if it is feeding time, treat time, or the litter box isn’t clean enough for her liking. I got Piper from a co-worker who had found her when she was a little over a year old. This co-worker told me that the cat was sweet and affectionate. I have never seen that side. I had never owned a cat before, so imagine my surprise at 6:00 a.m. the next morning, a Sunday, when a cat makes me up screaming in my face to be fed. Not only is she not sweet and affectionate, she will moan and then run if she even thinks you are going to come near her or touch her; this is sometimes done from what appears to be a sound sleep. If you are lucky enough to surprise her and pick her up, she will growl or moan at you and eventually scream at you to put her down.
