What lizard should i get?
You first need to look at your options and then do as much research as possible to find the pet that is right for you. With any large lizard you have to know and expect that although they are not that expensive and hard to maintain, your first initial purchase of the lizard, cage, accessories, and other things is going to be quite a bit. I have had iguanas in the past. They are pretty easy to take care of, but unless you have the time to hold them and spend time with them every day, they seem to get a little testy when they are older. I now have a bearded dragon and absolutely love her to death! They have wonderful personalities, love attention, love to be held and pretty much pet like a dog. I have taken mine to work with me on many occasions just for fun or for events that we have had – like for Halloween where she was dressed up like a punk rocker, and for pics with santa.
