What kinds of activities will take place that I can participate in during the 2010 Winter Games?
During the 2010 Winter Games, Vancouver will transform into a city of colours, culture and celebration. Vancouver’s celebration will include many free activities and opportunities that will attract, entertain, engage, and excite people of all ages throughout the Games period. • With several celebration sites, including two City of Vancouver LiveCity sites (LiveCity Downtown and LiveCity Yaletown), Robson Square and Granville Island, there will be many free opportunities across the city for to join in on the excitement of the Winter Games. • Thousands of people will gather every day at our LiveCity sites to watch live performances showcasing Vancouver’s creative excellence and cultural diversity. • The Olympic Torch will arrive in Vancouver on February 11, 2010.
