What is VoIP?
The ( Voice Over IP) protocol allows you to make and receive calls through your broadband internet connection while still using a standard touch tone phone. You can make calls using VOIP by dialing a number on your phone, as you always have. To receive a call simply pick up your phone like you normally would.

Most likely you will want to be able to access your computer and use your Dolphin service without disconnecting cables. A router will allow you to use both your Dolphin service and computer to surf the web and get email at the same time. Make sure that your router is ADSL/DSL/cable compatible and provides NAT (Network Address Translation) and DHCP for your network.
