Visula is a visual programming language (VPL). It is a programming language that uses a graphical notation to express programs. An overview of the language can be found here. The purpose of Visula is to provide a full programming language for application development. This remains a challenge for visual programming, since mainstream application development is still based on text. It is an interesting question as to whether visual programming will eventually supersede text.
