What is video snapshot?
Video snapshot is a tool that enables you to take snapshots of yourself with your webcam, edit them and save them as your profile picture. You can also take snapshots of friends during video calls, and send them to other friends. Video snapshot is available in Skype for Windows 4.2 and above, and in Skype for Mac OS X 2.8 and above. If you are using an earlier version of Skype you will not be able to take video snapshots until you upgrade to the latest version. The location of video snapshot images on your computer depends on the operating system you are using. Taking a video snapshot of yourself Skype for Windows: • Sign in to Skype and in the Tools menu, select Options… • In the General area, select Video settings. • Click Take a video snapshot. Pleas e check that your video is working correctly if the Take a video snapshot link is disabled. • The webcam image will be displayed in a new window.
