What is UCSC Gmail for Students?
UCSC Gmail is a new and improved email provider for UCSC students. Starting September 2009, enrolled students can sign up for UCSC Gmail and enjoy the benefits of Google’s superior interface, spam filtering, search capabilities, built-in chat, and collaboration tools such as shared documents and calendar. Students who sign up for UCSC Gmail will continue using their @ucsc.edu email address. In September, students have a choice – either sign up for UCSC Gmail or continue using the CruzMail web client. Both options allow students to use their existing @ucsc.edu email address.
