Phoenix is the code name of the next generation TYPO3 CMS which will eventually be released as TYPO3 5.0. The sprint releases mark milestones on the way to version five. While they don’t provide the full feature set yet, they are already relatively stable and show off the features which were previously defined as sprint goals.
