What is the Westridge Admissions process?
Admissions is competitive. Our enrollment includes 69 percent from the independent sector and 31 percent from public schools. The school’s commitment to ethnic diversity is reflected in its 46 percent diversity enrollment. Each prospective family receives an application packet. Included in the packet are the application, two teacher recommendation forms, a transcript request form, entrance exam information, and information on scheduling a campus visit and interview. During February and March, our Admissions Committee (made up of administrators & faculty) meet and make the Admissions decisions. Final decisions are made after each committee member has carefully reviewed each file. Notification letters are sent in early March.
