What is the uniform?
You need to purchase a Guilderland Rec. soccer shirt for $17.00. If you need a uniform shirt, you can find them at the first game. On the first game day, there will be tables with boxes set on them. The shirts will be in the boxes. If players have purchased uniform shirts with their application form, the parents give the child’s name to the table attendant and then select a shirt. If the shirt was not purchased with the application, they can be bought on the spot at the table. Required equipment – All players must wear shin guards. If a player comes to the game without their shin guards, they cannot play. All players must wear socks over their shin guards, even if they are wearing “sock style” shin guards. All players must wear uniform shirts during the game. If the temperature is nippy, and players want to wear jackets or sweatshirts during the game, they must wear them under their uniform shirts (no hooded sweatshirts).
