What is the Trojan Family?
The “Trojan Family” is a term used to describe students, parents, siblings, alumni, friends, staff, and faculty who live, work for, study at, and support the University of Southern California. You automatically become a member of the Trojan Family when your student chooses to attend USC. The campus community prides itself on providing a warm and welcoming “family” atmosphere for USC students, families, and staff and faculty members. According to the USC website: “The extended family of USC is a global network made up of thousands of alumni, students, faculty, and staff, as well as parents of students. But the uniqueness of the Trojan Family isn’t due to its vast numbers. Rather, it’s the extraordinary closeness and solidarity that is found in this genuinely supportive community.
