What is the Stone Pony show?
A. Warren’s first full-length solo show was at the Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ on July 7, 1994 (starting at midnight on the night of the 6th). Backing him that night were Nick Beggs on bass and Jay Cuccurullo on drums. The show was called “Warren Cuccurullo Shuts Up & Plays His Guitar.” He performed some Zappa songs, “Discoveries” by Missing Persons (a later performance of this is on Roadrage, re-titled “In-Flight Entertainment”), and every song on Thanks 2 Frank except “Galactic Ballerina.
