What is the speech output option?
When you select the Speech Output option from the Accessibility Options screen, text on the screen will be read out to you. If you use the tab key to move between the controls on a screen, those controls will also be spoken as you tab into them. Speech will also be provided when text appears in a heads-up display while you are in the world, and events that are echoed as onscreen text will also be spoken. At any time, you can ask to have any screen read out to you by pressing Alta.
