We rely on the services of Fedex and UPS to delivery our packages (both are more reliable than the post office), and the rural classification for your ZIP code is within their discretion. As you may imagine, it costs more to deliver packages in rural areas. Consequently, both Fedex and UPS charge us extra for rural deliveries. We do not make any money on this surcharge! Still, even with the $2 surcharge, hope you agree that our shipping rates are very reasonable.
