What is the relation between IT and CS?
Information technology refers to the computer technology appropriate to the encoding, storage, communication, control and use of information. Applications of information technology can be seen in internet, databases, digital libraries, e-commerce, CD-ROM storage, ATM and banking, etc. Like similar computer science departments in all other advanced countries, we are responsible for the major roles of education and pioneering in information technology.
