What is the purpose of a Windows Vista Operating system?

0

The same purpose as any other operating system. A computer is simply a calculating device which does nothing on it’s own but is capable of responding to instructions that it understands. Now if you wanted to create a diary for example, you could spend hours and hours writing such a programme or you could simply install an operating system which has a method of communication already set up along with a host of programmes and basics. So for example when you turn your pc on, you see a screen with all your icons, well they come from your operating system. Windows vista is just another type of operating system with different layout etc.
