You would need to prepare the mentioned documents and come to our office in Budva to complete the forms for registration of a firm and getting a work permit. Then you and the lawyer will certify the Power of Attorney (necessary for the lawyer to complete the firm registration) at the Court in Cetinje or Kotor. Once the firm has been registered and the work permit obtained, the lawyer will submit the documents to the police. The documents processing time is 30 days. After this term you should personally visit the police to get the temporary residence permit stamp into your passport. The permit duration is 12 months and it can be renewed not later than 30 days before the expiration. Renewal will require the same set of documents as the initial application. In case the residence permit is renewed 5 years in a row, the applicant may apply for permanent residence in Montenegro.
